What is Ginnan?

Ginkgo nut called “ginnan” in Japanese, which is produced from ginkgo trees.

The fruit is yellow in color and about the size of a slightly larger cherry, but it has a very strong smell aka “extremely stinky” and the yellowish orange fruit (a soft pulp-like part) is not edible.
